Jørgen Chemnitz is a writer and has produced journalism, articles and collums to Weekendavisen (major danish paper) and Sermitsiaq (Greenlandic weekly paper). Also, Jørgen Chemnitz has written the book "Mens vi venter på bamsen," edited the cookbook "Grønland, til lands, til vands og i luften" and is a contributer to a yearbook on the Danish language.
